honestly, that's a pretty ridiculous thing to say.
Of course Diabetes can be managed, most diseases can be.
But, acting like it's not a big deal is pretty horrible.
I personally watched my father die due to complications of type one Diabetes.

it's still a really serious disease. i agree that it isn't worse with some of the new treatments they have but it's not cured yet.
