Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt: Children’s Hospital Visit

Following a day-long birthday celebration, Heidi Montag and boyfriend Spencer Pratt visited the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) where Ryan Seacrest was broadcasting his radio show with a guest performance by Jesse McCartney on Tuesday (September 16).

After spending time on the air with Ryan talking about their reality show “The Hills,” the co-star couple then took a tour of some of the children’s wards at the hospital, proceeding to greet some of the patients.

According to a source on-hand, Heidi became fairly emotional visiting with the ill and needy children, but didn’t let it show - instead she chatted to the kids about High School Musical, Camp Rock, Vanessa Hudgens, Demi Lovato and loads of other Disney movies and stars.

Our insider adds that Spencer even claimed he wished he was Zac Efron, so that the kids would like him more!

Old people smell the worst. You never see any celebrities visiting retirement homes for photo ops.

It's just the hospitals that stink. Too many smells of body fluids, sanitizers and death smells going around. They also just sponge bathe patients, which really doesn't do much.

Heidi could still be pretty - all is not lost, she just needs to dye her hair a more natural colour. It really makes me sad (slight exageration) that she's not making the most of her potential.

Ugh, I know. Girl needs some textured highlights... blondes/honeys/browns... and a layered shoulder length cut with side bangs. The platinum blonde, curtain haircut just exaggerates her new horse face.

Okay, I think it's nice that they did this but I don't know how I feel about them taking pictures of the kids. It almost seems like they were exploiting them a bit. But I guess if the kids were okay with it, I don't know, maybe it made the kids feel like they were ~celebrities~ for a moment, which is cool. I just hope the photos were done with good intentions.
