Robert Deniro has quit his role on Mel Gibson's comeback film "Edge of Darkness". Local news reports cite a blow up after a scene of DeNiro hitting a golf ball out of a sand trap took 20 takes.
Arguments between DeNiro and the director, Martin Campbell have been reported.
Shooting began on the film, last month, but De Niro only arrived on set this past week. The film makers plan to shoot around his character’s scenes until they cast an actor to replace him.
