Mad Men Playboy shoot

[info]marciaelena from [info]madmen_tv uploaded these shots of Vincent Kartheiser, Bryan Batt, Aaron Staton, Michael Gladis, and Rich Sommer for Playboy (bunnies and all!) and they're sooooo pretty I figured I'd try posting them here.




















Hoping to see this show kick some serious Emmy ass!
ETA: and I don't really know a lot about Playboy or anything but I guess I saw the trashy jank bunnies as being a foil for how ~classy~ the Sterling Cooper boys look. Also, you know their characters (save for Sal) would looooove those chicks.

It so definitely IS, but watch the episodes in order and give it until at least episode five before you write it off as "boring" or anything. That sounds like a long way to go, but it's a slow burner and it STAYS with you.

Most definitely! I had not watched any television in years until this show came along. It is well worth your hour. You can view old episodes on You Tube or Alluc.org. I think the show in the first season started out in the year 1960 and now there are at 1962. Just the costumes and surroundings are a feast for the eyes - the outfits, hats, gloves, old typewriters, furniture, decor, etc. Also the implied sex is more delicious than the graphic trashola. Great plot lines too about the creativity in an ad agency.
