Ugh, I hate when people say these women "don't look Indian." India has 1 billion people, not everyone fucking looks the same.

It's like people here haven't even met many Indians.

I know they do. My problem is people here thinking Indians have some sort of typical look.

Well you have to admit they look as though they tried to pick women with all the same features that don't really stand out. There's no harm in believing that they are trying to influence people of what "a beautiful indian" woman looks like. It happens in America with black, spanish girls and etc. Why can't it be the same for Indian women?

It's a shame, because Indian women are all unique and beautiful, but the magazine just chose a bunch of girls who look the same.

I'm hesitant to answer this in case people will be all ~you racist~ towards me, but.. it seems to me that they chose women with very light skin tones and smaller features than what is usually attributed to Indian women. Like someone said, most of these girls could easily pass for Italian, or Greek, and to me none of them look like most Indian women I've seen. I think Indian women are gorgeous, but these girls are so cookie cutter beautiful and in a Western sense.

That may have been worded completely wrong, but I hope someone gets what I mean.
