Paris' Parents to McCain: How Dare You

This has gotta hurt. We did some digging and found Rick and Kathy Hilton gave the John McCain campaign $4,600 this year, and Johnny boy has now taken a shot at their lil' girl.

According to the Federal Election Commission website, the Hiltons contributed the dough last March. Initially, Rick put up all the $$$ but in April it was split between him and his wife.

Now McCain is taking a shot at Obama, using Paris as his ditzy weapon.

[info]gaspworthy 31st-Jul-2008 12:12 am (UTC)
I'm going to show my support for McCain, 'cause this post is going to be full of Obama supporters in about 2 minutes.
[info]gaspworthy 31st-Jul-2008 12:13 am (UTC)
Not to say I support his use of Paris's image, but he is the one I will be voting for, come election.
[info]gaspworthy 31st-Jul-2008 12:13 am (UTC)

[info]shannondepp 31st-Jul-2008 12:14 am (UTC)
What makes him appealing to you?
[info]pink__sparklies 31st-Jul-2008 12:15 am (UTC)
Why? I'm serious, not trying to be an asshat. I'm interested in legitimate reasons why people would vote for McCain.
[info]cosmologists 31st-Jul-2008 12:15 am (UTC)
I could not have continued perusing this post without that knowledge, so thank you.
[info]vangogh_ourears 31st-Jul-2008 12:17 am (UTC)
May I ask what's compelling you to vote for him? I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just genuinely curious.
[info]pink__sparklies 31st-Jul-2008 12:13 am (UTC)
Racist.
[info]miss_gulch 31st-Jul-2008 12:15 am (UTC)
Why do you like McCain? Serious question.
[info]epouvante 31st-Jul-2008 12:16 am (UTC)
why do u hate america
[info]slutbaginator 31st-Jul-2008 12:52 am (UTC)
are you loaded or do you hate the gheys
[info]ohtheglorious 31st-Jul-2008 12:56 am (UTC)
Tbh I think you're just asking to be attacked. It's fine to be a Republican and/or vote for McCain, but to state it as a way to oppose all the Obama fans without listing your reasons isn't really a great idea. Some people are going to attack you regardless, whether you state your views or not, but that just makes them look stupid. I know you didn't mean anything by it, but stating your support for McCain and refusing to give reasons behind it while in a place filled with liberals isn't going to win you many fans.
[info]sarainc 31st-Jul-2008 01:53 am (UTC)
so you want to support mccain... but don't have the guts to say why?
[info]lalaletterkills 31st-Jul-2008 03:42 am (UTC)
I support him too <3
[info]pink__sparklies 31st-Jul-2008 12:12 am (UTC)
I hate Republicans.
[info]miss_gulch 31st-Jul-2008 12:14 am (UTC)
lol. That's not very nice.
[info]pink__sparklies 31st-Jul-2008 12:15 am (UTC)
I know. I'm just trying to see how many Elisabeth Hasselbecks respond.
[info]superhetoric 31st-Jul-2008 12:15 am (UTC)
i like to think of myself as being open-minded but i don't know if i could date a republican, tbh
[info]fauxromantic 31st-Jul-2008 12:15 am (UTC)
rude.
[info]iamcheryltweedy 31st-Jul-2008 12:18 am (UTC)
agreed. However, most of them consider me to be less than human, so idc
[info]3mcoopandmaxie 31st-Jul-2008 12:18 am (UTC)

[info]ultravlntmoloko 31st-Jul-2008 12:21 am (UTC)

[info]mel_in_tights 31st-Jul-2008 12:41 am (UTC)

[info]sophie_ann 31st-Jul-2008 12:58 am (UTC)
i think i love you, pink__sparklies.
[info]sideofzen 31st-Jul-2008 01:12 am (UTC)
I can deal with economic conservatives, but not social conservatives. GTFO out of my bedroom and my vag plz.
[info]mysticlady3 31st-Jul-2008 02:19 am (UTC)
My grandparents are Republicans and would rather slit there throat than vote Democrat. My grandpa is also convinced that if Obama wins, the US will go communist :/
[info]lalaletterkills seriously??31st-Jul-2008 03:46 am (UTC)
I do not get some Democrats at all, basically ones like you & below posters.
One of my best friends is an extreme Democrat and most of my friends. I come from a Democratic state (Rhode Island); however, I am a Republican and NEVER have experienced immaturity like "OMG I HATE U CUZ UR A REPUBLICAN."
[info]superhetoric 31st-Jul-2008 12:14 am (UTC)
of course paris' parents are donating republicans, they're selfish and wealthy haha. i still just can't get over the fact that john mccain would stoop that low. i mean. i'm not voting for him, but i've always had respect for him. running for president brings out the ugly in everyone. fuck.
[info]indie_star 31st-Jul-2008 12:28 am (UTC)
It's a nasty Republican tactic used all the time. Winning means more than anything to him, so he stooped that low.
[info]superhetoric 31st-Jul-2008 12:31 am (UTC)
i remember that right after obama won the nomination my brother (who is a republican marine) and i were talking about how refreshing this election was shaping up to be but i guess mccain really has sold out all his more respectable qualities because he just needs to win
[info]squirrels_oh_no 31st-Jul-2008 12:14 am (UTC)
Mike Gravel for President!

(But I'll vote for Obama seeing as Grandpa Mike has no chance)
[info]vivisexion 31st-Jul-2008 12:22 am (UTC)
Yesss, Mike Gravel! I wish he had a chance :(
[info]vangogh_ourears 31st-Jul-2008 12:34 am (UTC)
I loved that guy. Kucinich is still my ideal President though :(
[info]neopolygraphics 31st-Jul-2008 12:49 am (UTC)
I liked him a lot.
[info]marmar627 31st-Jul-2008 02:01 am (UTC)
Haha I love Kucinich idc what people say
[info]xxerronious 31st-Jul-2008 03:08 am (UTC)
IAWTC so much.
[info]deja_vu822 31st-Jul-2008 12:14 am (UTC)
I was hoping something like this was going to happen. I really wanted Britney or Paris to be like "hey...John, I'm a republican. I support you."
[info]yoyobrit 31st-Jul-2008 06:31 am (UTC)
I'm not sure Britney can vote. She's crazy at the moment.
[info]3mcoopandmaxie 31st-Jul-2008 12:17 am (UTC)
McCain is an old loser

but omg at least hes got Heidi Montag on his side omfgz
[info]iamcheryltweedy 31st-Jul-2008 12:20 am (UTC)
McCain is a lying, cheating piece of shit. For someone parroting so much shit about ~family values~ he has none himself.

SMD, McCAIN
[info]ultravlntmoloko 31st-Jul-2008 12:21 am (UTC)
Everyone mentioned in this post sucks
[info]houseofasher 31st-Jul-2008 12:21 am (UTC)
I don't see how that was taking a shot at either Paris or Britney?
[info]3mcoopandmaxie 31st-Jul-2008 12:24 am (UTC)
oh hello George W.
[info]houseofasher 31st-Jul-2008 12:25 am (UTC)
'sup? lol
[info]spicylimes 31st-Jul-2008 02:27 am (UTC)
HAHA stewie is looking at Bush like WTF
[info]superhetoric 31st-Jul-2008 12:41 am (UTC)
i honestly don't see how that was taking a shot at obama either but TMZ needs something to talk about. paris' parents are probably proud that her image was used in that way.
