I agree these two probably don't take good care of their teeth, but the colour of your teeth has nothing to do with your dental hygiene. My ex has extremely discoloured teeth and his dental hygiene is exceptional, bordering on obsessive-compulsive. Even if I take really good care of my teeth they're always yellowish in colour. It's the way they grow.

Yes, thank you. I'm paranoid about the shade of my teeth because I think they look yellow but my dentist says they are pretty much perfect.
It depends on how transparent your enamel is.

Yeah, I'm the same. My dentist always tells me that I'm one of his best patients for how much I take care of my teeth, but I haven't been pearly white since I was a young kid.

That said, I have very little doubt that Amy and Blake just have poor hygiene.

lol I keep trotting this out every time this topic comes up, but it may interest you to know that the healthiest teeth actually have a yellow tint rather than white. This is because enamel at its hardest and healthiest is slightly transluscent, and the colour of the dentine beneath has a yellow tinge.

According to both my dentist and arthodontist, anyway.
