I'm scared that this season won't be nearly as good as the one before... :(
[info]thepartycrasher 6th-Jun-2008 06:21 am (UTC)
IAWTC

:((( the top 4 last year (sabra, neil, lacy, and danny) were all phenomenal dancers and they were all so hot.

these people aren't that hot, and neither is their dance.

DAMN NEIL WAS SO SEXY.
[info]waveless 6th-Jun-2008 06:43 am (UTC)
iawtc.
[info]likeacid 6th-Jun-2008 07:15 am (UTC)
Neil's sexiness was distracting. But I wasn't complaining. ;)
[info]splendourific 6th-Jun-2008 11:35 am (UTC)
WORD
[info]witnessthine 6th-Jun-2008 04:56 pm (UTC)

[info]xbeautyisdeadx 6th-Jun-2008 05:19 pm (UTC)
neil was pretty sexy.
[info]truexillusions 6th-Jun-2008 06:42 am (UTC)
Season 2 still owns my heart. :( Travis and Benji.
[info]kimberwyn 6th-Jun-2008 07:04 am (UTC)
Especially since Wade is gone :/
[info]k_byte 6th-Jun-2008 12:52 pm (UTC)
Nothing will ever be as good as last season i'm afraid :(
[info]stoic_failure 6th-Jun-2008 01:30 pm (UTC)
it can't be as good for me to watch, the ballroom dancers they had last year were so, so, SO good and the ones they have this year are kind of eh.
[info]_at_thestars 6th-Jun-2008 04:02 pm (UTC)
mte.
everyone seems so blah this year.
[info]xbeautyisdeadx 6th-Jun-2008 05:18 pm (UTC)
you're not the only one honey :)
[info]ilovemeganm 6th-Jun-2008 06:13 am (UTC)
omg this show is UNWATCHABLE
we tried tonight but stopped after that contortionist dude dropped out. it was just so awful and cheesy.
[info]i_got_servedyo 6th-Jun-2008 07:12 am (UTC)
why did he drop out?
[info]buttahmellow 6th-Jun-2008 07:26 am (UTC)
He couldn't grasp the choreography and just gave up.
[info]cookingwpizzazz 6th-Jun-2008 08:48 am (UTC)
I dunno, I think SYTYCD is one of the best reality competition shows out there.
[info]_eleni 6th-Jun-2008 08:58 am (UTC)
I HATE watching the auditions portion of the show. It's just so sooo bad and it's more about the judges than it is about the dancers.

But when the actual competition starts with the top 20, it's amazing.
[info]illiadria 6th-Jun-2008 01:43 pm (UTC)
It gets sooooo much better after the top 20 is decided. You should give it another chance, especially since theres not a whole heck of a lot else on TV right now. :)
[info]diapergenie 6th-Jun-2008 02:16 pm (UTC)
I couldn't even get past the first episode auditions.
[info]dangerbuffalo 6th-Jun-2008 06:13 am (UTC)
I wish I had mad dance skillz.
[info]gaspworthy 6th-Jun-2008 06:14 am (UTC)
OMG GUYZ.

GIVE IT 1 WEEK AND THERE WILL BE SLASH. HAHA YES.

In other news, none of these guys stand out.
[info]devon_carrots 6th-Jun-2008 07:09 am (UTC)
I'm slashing Twitch and the guy with the tie and the studded bracelet.

because...... idk I'm just calling it now so if they become bff's and ppl slash them i'll be like TOLD UUUUUU
[info]gaspworthy 6th-Jun-2008 07:17 am (UTC)
WHAT'S THEIR SLASH NAME?
[info]monte_j90 6th-Jun-2008 06:15 am (UTC)

[info]fuk_q 6th-Jun-2008 06:21 am (UTC)

[info]saralynn 6th-Jun-2008 01:32 pm (UTC)
iawtc she is qt and talented
[info]lastshotringing 7th-Jun-2008 08:00 pm (UTC)
Me too.
[info]deseti_prsten 6th-Jun-2008 06:15 am (UTC)
So happy for Twitch.
Katie was lame w/ her answer, but she deserves to be there.
But, that teacher.. wtf.
All she does is that Shakira move over and over again. And she looks like a man,
[info]onceuponasurf 6th-Jun-2008 06:16 am (UTC)
is their an age limit? the teacher has to be at least 30
[info]gnomenapper 6th-Jun-2008 06:19 am (UTC)
She was like 24 I think.
[info]deseti_prsten 6th-Jun-2008 06:29 am (UTC)
I think it's 28, could be 30. She looks like she's in her late 30s. Ugh.
[info]miss_nyxie 6th-Jun-2008 02:34 pm (UTC)
the age limit is 30
[info]carrie1982 6th-Jun-2008 11:43 am (UTC)
I hate the teacher. I can't believe she made the top 20.
[info]adhesiveheart 6th-Jun-2008 01:23 pm (UTC)
I'm stoked for Twitch, and ugh ...that stupid teacher, I hate her already.
[info]first5times 6th-Jun-2008 02:29 pm (UTC)
MTE! Ugh...can't stand her and I hope she goes home the first week.
[info]bloody_pickle 6th-Jun-2008 06:16 am (UTC)
Is this show any good?
[info]justjared 6th-Jun-2008 06:46 am (UTC)
THE BEST.
[info]inchesnfalling 6th-Jun-2008 05:15 pm (UTC)
it's incredible
[info]ohinternets 6th-Jun-2008 06:35 am (UTC)
MTE.
[info]icedteabb 6th-Jun-2008 06:56 am (UTC)
she got rejected because she was "too shy" or some bullshit like that. if she made top20, she would have easily gotten the biggest fanbase out of all the dancers
[info]_eleni 6th-Jun-2008 09:02 am (UTC)
When I saw her audition, I called her for the top 20. My boyfriend asked, "are you willing to bet that she'd be in the top 5?" and I said yes. :(
[info]very_veggie 6th-Jun-2008 11:46 am (UTC)
She was robbed. I was so pissed when they cut her--she was my favorite.

And wtf Debbie Allen judging when one of her students was competing??? What about conflict of interest???
[info]roezmahree 6th-Jun-2008 12:41 pm (UTC)
Well, there were 5 other panelists that would gladly call her out on her bias. Brian Friedman did some judging last year, I think, but he didn't judge on the show as conflict of interest for Lauren who was his student.
[info]roezmahree 6th-Jun-2008 12:42 pm (UTC)
OMG, jaw dropped when they told her to go home. It was pretty much all downhill from there with the exception of maybe like 5 contestants.
[info]blackxjeans 6th-Jun-2008 03:02 pm (UTC)
I KNOW. When she was the first one to get rejected, I was so surprised. Complete bullshit. She deserved to be there, and probably a better contemporary dancer than the other ones that got in.
[info]iminyourfanclub 6th-Jun-2008 03:19 pm (UTC)
I'm still trying to convince myself it was for the best. Saves me from a bigger heartbreak later. Allison's elimination in season 2 still hurts.

eta: plus, she doesnt need this show as badly as these other losers do.

[info]tonguemastaofjc 6th-Jun-2008 05:41 pm (UTC)
IKR! I was sadly sooo very sad face..
[info]all_drained_out 6th-Jun-2008 11:09 pm (UTC)
I already had her in my top 5.
I was so pissed when they gave her a shitty reason why they were cutting her.
She was so robbed.
[info]gnomenapper 6th-Jun-2008 06:18 am (UTC)
Susie Garcia does not belong in the top 20. So many more talented dancers- but she had the blonde bimbo things going for her I guess. *disappointed*
I'm still going to watch though.
[info]ziester 6th-Jun-2008 07:02 am (UTC)
Ugh, agreed. I seriously thought they were on crack when they put her through.
[info]icedteabb 6th-Jun-2008 07:08 am (UTC)
seriously! she's awful
[info]_eleni 6th-Jun-2008 09:04 am (UTC)
Absolute bullshit that she made it into the top 20. The fact that she got in over so many freakin' amazing female dancers makes me want to barf.
[info]chelsi_loves_it 6th-Jun-2008 02:53 pm (UTC)
I wanted to throw shit at my TV when she was on. UGHHHH.
[info]witnessthine 6th-Jun-2008 04:52 pm (UTC)
they like picking the most attractive people, it's lame.
[info]lastshotringing 7th-Jun-2008 08:01 pm (UTC)
Agreed. She really annoyed me and she didn't seem that talented at all.
[info]batina35 6th-Jun-2008 06:19 am (UTC)
I'm so happy Twitch made it. But I'm upset that Brendan didn't make it. That first audition was awesome.
[info]kellyree 6th-Jun-2008 01:52 pm (UTC)
I love Twitch!!! I was very surprised at Brendan not making it. They made such a big deal about him and i thought his first audition was really impressive. I would liked to have seen more of what hid did in Vegas.
[info]maveness 6th-Jun-2008 01:54 pm (UTC)
Dude, I'm with you. Only thing I can figure is that they know Brandon will try out again. And it's stacking the deck for next season. They definitely "cast" the show, with contestants that you know won't make it far, even if they're good. (I actually think that was their attempt with Sabra last year - to have her be expendable because she was good but quiet. The quiet ones tend to get overlooked pretty quickly.)
[info]darlingdivine 6th-Jun-2008 06:19 am (UTC)
Good, now I can start watching.
[info]andmelbis 6th-Jun-2008 06:20 am (UTC)
Ugh, why do people name their kids "Comfort"???
[info]justjared 6th-Jun-2008 06:22 am (UTC)
It's comforting?
[info]burnbabyburn 6th-Jun-2008 01:35 pm (UTC)
omg on miss rap supreme the little girl was named tolerance.

no words.
[info]tx5mym5 7th-Jun-2008 05:17 am (UTC)
Um, she's Nigerian. In Nigerian, names like Comfort and Patience are pretty common girl's names.
[info]_vanityfair 6th-Jun-2008 06:21 am (UTC)
Your icon's kinda freaking me out. What film?
[info]fuk_q 6th-Jun-2008 06:24 am (UTC)

[info]likegunfire 6th-Jun-2008 06:25 am (UTC)

Mark was pretty sweet. Then again, I could be biased because he had a Bohemian Rhapsody solo...
