Last night on Denise Richards, “It’s Complicated” Denise tries to have a meeting with journalist Lycia Naff to clear the air. Denise wants to show people another side to her and to justify some of the rumors about her circulating in the tabloids. Her first meeting gets well….. complicated. I love CUNT. I think it has that gross feeling to it that makes people feel offended and uncomfortable...and that is why I love it. You don't call someone a cunt and have them interpret it into anything but exactly what you mean.

I just think it sounds disgusting, so I rarely use it and I "don't approve" when I'm around someone who uses it frequently (though I wouldn't actually ask the person to stop saying it - I just think "ick"). I've probably called someone a cunt maybe 3 times in my lifetime. Because I don't really like the word, I reserve it for the worst of all cunts.

I don't get it either and am eager for it to become just another regular curse word instead of the ultimate ~horror curse~. My friends and I started saying it when we were young'ns because we listened to British music and it had it a lot and we had not idea it was so scandalous because we only hung out with each other. Sure enough when I went to college and my roommate heard my friend and I used it she was way scandalized/amused but not like particularly angry, which was good.

i love the word, but i don't like when it's used in a derogatory fashion. as others say, it's extremely sexist for THAT to be the most "offensive" thing to call someone. it's offensive that both pussy and cunt are almost exclusively used when it comes to insulting someone one way or another, whereas dick or cock can and is used for other purposes as well.

i know, tl;dr. i tend to ramble on these subjects.
