I guess I'm in the minority that didn't like it, I read the book and it was kind of like "oh look at me I was in the first band to get a million dollar advance and Allen Ginsberg took naked pictures of us in his kitchen and I had a really fucked up childhood blah blah blah." The author was the director of the movie and it felt kind of masturbatory, overacted and at times horribly cliche. Also, Channing Tatum (although occasionally very pretty) cannot act to save his life.
