Lourdes Leon Gets Foxy Roxy

Lourdes Leon, the 11-year-old daughter of the Material mom, laces up her Roxy high-tops and holds hands with actor father Carlos Leon as they leave NYC’s Kabbalah Center after Saturday service.

i know. i dont understand the "madonna is a good mom because she wont let her wax"

kids get picked on, waxing isnt a big deal. i'd rather have a mom who lets me wax my eyebrows, has dinner with me every night and helps me with homework than a mom who's never around but wont let my wax

If it were my daughter, I would wait until she asked to have it done before I'd mention it. For example, some kids at school were making fun of my daughter's sneakers. She mentioned it to me a few times and I told her to just ignore them because her shoes were cool. Eventually, she came home one day and said she wanted new shoes and I knew it was because she was being hassled for it. I think the nitpicking from her friends changed how she felt about them. So, I bought her new shoes.

If she had a unibrow and a mustache and kids were making fun of her, I'd remind her that she's beautiful no matter what, unless she really wanted to have it taken care of because it was starting to bother her, and then I'd take her straight to the salon.

So, I don't know, maybe Lourdes is comfortable with it and it doesn't bother her. More power to her, I guess. I think it would be a real bitch thing to do if Madonna wouldn't let her have it fixed, especially considering all the effort she puts into making herself look good.
