LOST - season two (mini)trailer
Actually, a number of things.
If you'd rather figure out stuff by yourself, click here.
1. script page
Click here. Under the yellow sign on the right that says "Important Announcement ALL FLIGHTS CANCELLED", move your cursor the the right side of the yellow box. You will see a green strip. Use your mouse to move it into a blank space to read.
There's also a message that says:
Robert D. West, of Santa Barbara, California, USA survived a horrific plane crash and is stranded on an island somewhere Northeast of Australia and Southwest of Hawaii. In the event that I am never found, please forward word of my fate to parents, Mr. and Mrs. John West, of Tucson Arizona. Thank you.
Robert
If the script image isn't working for you. Then click here.
2. Character profile/tidbit things
First, click here. Click on the bottom row of the blue squares above each of the 6 numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42). Other squares will change colour. Click on those to see those character tidbit things.
3. Season 2 trailer
Still on the same page as before, click the actual numbers in order (4, then 8, then 15, then 16, etc).
After the trailer, you'll be automatically directed to oceanicflight815.com.
Spiffy. Pretty spiffy. That line bothers me ... "They're not the survivors they thought they were". If this is going to turn into The Others, I'm not watching. LAME.
Otherwise, can't wait until the new season starts! Season one on DVD comes out September 2005.
Also, I like how Driveshaft has a fansite.

Never seen the program before - But that is some awesome concepts, with the websites and everything. I remember Rockstar Games doing that with GTA: Vice City.
Dude. That John Locke tidbit thing totally caught me off guard.
You know it.
- After the seating chart loads, wait a bit. Certain seats will light up. If you scroll over them, the full names of the characters from Lost pop up, and if you click on them sometimes something else will pop up...for example, if you click on Rose's seat, her wedding ring floats down the right side of the chart.
- If you click the numbers under the chart in a certain order (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42, which happen to be Hurley's "lucky numbers") you'll get to see a commercial for the Fall season of Lost.
- If you view the source on a couple of pages, you'll get to read some of the messages that were put into the bottle in the last episode. Here are the ones I found:
Thank you.
If anyone should find this message, please get word to Sandra Rafflethorpe of Palm Avenue in Lewiston, Idaho that her sister, Sally is alive and stranded on an island somewhere in the South Pacific. Please send help soon. Things are bad. And they're getting worse...
If you are reading this note PLEASE get word to my wife, Christina Smith that her husband,
Jake survived the crash of Oceanic Flight #815 along with 47 others.
Darling, I miss you so much and dream of the day I can see your face again.
The very thought of that day is all that keeps me going here. Please don’t forget me!
Jake Smith
- Here's the best one: If you go to the home page, there will be a grey bar in the right-hand corner of the yellow text-box. Click it and drag it to the left...you'll see a revised page of the final episode's script. At the bottom is a detailed description of the monster. It's crossed out, and hand-written next to it is this:
No! NO! NO!!
NO MAPINGUARI!
NOT YET!!!
Mapinguari, a large nocturnal animal with a frightful screaming cry. Locals describe the Mapinguari as about two meters in height when standing on its hind legs. It is covered in red hair and emits a foul odor. Its feet are turned backwards and its claws are capable of ripping apart the palm trees upon which it feeds.
I thought the monster was gonna be some kind of mechanical robot thing.
scary
also, make
Also I love these little WTF sites like the Oceanic Airlines one. There's about with the numbers of doom, it has a polar bear and everything, it makes no sense and is highly cryptic but it's so cool.
How many days until Season 2?
And also... the producers of the show saidf that this show is actually taking its cues from other movies, television and books that the writers and producers found interesting and challenging. It it completely off base to think that they took a cue from "the others"... especially with the blatent presence of 'the others' on the island with the lostaways??
I really want a LOST soundtrack. The music on that show is amazing.
(For the lazy ones ... because reading it in that tiny square sucks)
