just saw la vie en rose yesterday. Although Marion was awesome I thought the movie sucked. It was all over the place timewise and wasn't very coherent. It seems the character of edith piaf was just bullied all her life and then became a drug addict who sang really well. I would just recommend buying edith piaf's album then watching that movie.

How can you read subtitles when you're stoned? I tried watching Amelie stoned and wouldn't have understood shit, if I hadn't watched the movie thousands of times before. I simply could not read the subtitles.

i've seen it today for the 2nd time and it's a really good movie. the scene where she is supposed to sing in the musichall and it gets really intense and the music starts and she opens her mouth but you can't hear her voice. dunno, i thought it was a great scene.
