TMZ Publisher, Former TV Actor Harvey Levin Is Gay
Friday, February 8th, 2008
An A-lister celeb (though we hate that term) that we love has unwittingly (or maybe wittingly, who knows??) clued us in to something we'd never even thought of. 57-year old Harvey Levin - owner and publisher of the TMZ internet and television series that focuses on the lives, tragedies, rehabs, wounds, tears, and deaths of celebrities - is gay. The aging failed actor, who had bit parts in movies like Volcano, and TV shows JAG, The Sopranos, People's Court with Judge Marilyn Milian, and a few others, probably has a resume stranger than any you've seen.
First he was an attorney, and practiced business law until 1996. After a few bombed attempts at acting, he exec-produced the TV show Celebrity Justice (similar to Harvey Levin Productions' TMZ.com and TMZ TV). For a man that claims he left practicing law after a senior attorney advised him lawyers are not supposed to have "morals," Harvey has sure done a great job of flushing his down the drain.
Now, let us be absolutely clear about this: we have relatives that are tall and short, big and small, Jewish and Christian, straight and gay, black and white, real hair and hair plugs...the works. Everyone knows a family member that has very different characteristics and personal traits, and that should not define anyone as a person.
However. This is Harvey's game. These are TMZ's rules. This is how they play - they play dirty. They prey on the lives of stars like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Ritchie, Britney Spears, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen...you name it.
