Robert Plant talks Zeppelin and stuff

Jill Martin of MSG TV interviewed LED ZEPPELIN singer Robert Plant on Friday (January 25, 2008) during the halftime break of the Knicks and Sixers game at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Plant spoke about his most memorable performance at Madison Square Garden, his upcoming tour with and bluegrass superstar Alison Krauss, and the possibility of playing again with with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham. "You never know what is around the corner," was Robert's reply regarding the ZEPPELIN reunion tour rumors.

My mother thinks Im nuts, because in one breath I'll say Im too broke to afford paying to get a 2 moles on my face removed (not covered by OHIP or work insurance, have to pay out of pocket), and 2 minutes later Im spazzing about seeing Zep. I calmly explained that I can always get the moles removed later, seeing Zep would be a one shot deal.

Im surprised she was shocked by this. :D

My boyfriend won a trip to anywhere in North America through his work. If they tour, we're going to NYC. The trip expires in a year, so COME ON.

he basically said that the band is ready to get back together but that its just about Robert and when he's done with the Alison Krauss tour.

My favorite part of the interview was when she asked if he had to choose one song to perform to make the crowd go insane, what would it be - and he said it would be Kashmir. Wise choice, Robert. Wise choice indeed.
