Christian of Project Runway says he surprised himself with this weeks creation



Christian was interviewed by gay-fun podcast Feast of Fools

Christian:

-calls Maddy's look "tranny"
-calls his haircut the "asian lesbian"
-talks about the audition/interview process (laura bennet from last year was one of his judges)
-studying fashion abroad in London
- whether he makes it to the finals
-his design for this weeks episode

They asked him about the drama with Maddy (prom dress girl). "She wanted to be Beyonce on a budget... All the things that she wanted weren't going to work... She kinda looked like a tranny but that's okay." Later he says "...this was my worst challenge. The rest were easy compared to this."

The interviewers (Marc and Fausto) took this as a hint he would last in the competition. He didn't deny it. But listen for yourself and see what you make of it.

He also said that this weeks episode (1/16/2007) he made something that even he didn't know he was capable of. (Which makes me pretty excited.) He expects people to be shocked by it because he was shocked by the finished product.

They also talk about the process to get on the show, his haircut which he refers to the "asian lesbian" do. Does he still have it? Also, who he does/doesn't like on the show, his personal fashion, who he is dating, and what inspires him as a designer.

This interview had its funny moments. Definitely listen to some of their other podcasts if you want. They have interviewed Kathy Griffin (which was awesome) and Margret Cho (which was not so awesome-because of her) and Jim Verraros (can't remember) so check their archives for those.



OT: This is my first post. Sorry if it wasn't up to par. I love this podcast and PR so the two combined I had to share it with yall. I also listened to this last week when it was first posted so I am recapping since I don't want to listen to the whole thing all over again.
