However the movie was too fucking long and got WAAAAAAAY too crazy in some parts. :(
And fuck Jude/Lucy.
Jude/Max OTP.
Especially at the similarity to Ewan, when Jude sings "Girl". . .so Ewan. I loved it.
But that For The Benefit of Mr. Kite scene. . .what the hell?!
IAWTC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a strange movie in parts but my mom said it was true to how it was with all the drugs and the Beatles did some whacky shit, I don't know!
But I disagree about the movie being too long. It's just my opinion, but because the story was so strongly centered on the music, and the story centered around Beatles songs, that they needed it to be character driven.
If you're not attached to the characters in the movie, you'd come away being unimpressed, because everyone already knows the songs they heard in the movie. The amazing thing about the movie isn't the music (the music IS amazing, but we've all heard it) it's the characters they created. And time needs to be given to the audience to get attached to the characters.
Now that I've said that however, I think the For the Benefit of Mr. Kite scene could have been shorter.
(it's especially great cause they were totally playing John and Paul :D)
and whaat the helllll is the up with the naked brothers band name? it sounds so inappropriate.
Yes?
are these thekids that were in the dr. phil house? that wrote that song about their mom being a bitch? 24/7 bitch?
