Van Halen footage

The first VAN HALEN tour in more than 22 years with David Lee Roth as lead vocalist kicked off Thursday night (September 27) at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Charlote, North Carolina. Early fan-filmed video footage from the third show of the tour — which took place last night (Monday, October 1) at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — can be viewed below.

they definitely do sound good, but it's odd to see David Lee Roth being so sedentary on stage, and not doing his high-kicks, and twists and jumps....

His fatass kid was the worst "celebrity" I ever worked for. What a snot nose brat. He referred to himself as a "big star" and would demand all kinds of stuff.

After a day of putting up with him, I told him to go f- himself.

Now I have nightmares everytime I hear the name "Van Halen" lol...

i would have rather have seen them back in the day too. when they had hunger and spunk. but, since i have not seen any incarnation of VH, I would go with your Dad in a heartbeat if I could.

I've met David Lee Roth. He's coming into the movie theater I work at and he lives in my town when he isn't working and whatnot. He was quite drugged/intoxicated the one time. Once he tipped me and my friend a couple dollars each. He seems like a nice guy.
