you've got to be kidding me. i have no idea how a human being, let alone a woman, could not only write from the perspective of multiple aged women, but men too. and to not make any errors while doing it. i seriously don't have any idea how a human could write a book like that. i have an idea, though, i saw her speak in chicago and she said her editor reorganized the original draft.

i have a hunch you haven't read it. i don't think it's on people's radars, nor is this movie. now you want to talk overreated, two words: harry potter

You're wrong. I did read it. And I have the opinion that it's overrated. I found it completely unremarkable in every way as well as overwhelmingly trite. YES, I said trite. And I even know the definition of the word! Imagine that!

I also know the meaning of the word overrated. From the moment somebody recommended the book to me in 2004 and I picked it up, read it, put it down and thought, "Why, that was a waste," I thought it was overrated. And then all of a sudden everybody I ran into said, "OMG HAVE YOU READ THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE?!"

No. I hate the word "overrated."

Honestly, if it hit a cord with so many, then just let it be. I try to tell myself that with Harry Potter. I can't stand those books, and yet millions (perfectly intellectual individuals) love it, so that's definitely saying something.

And I do understand you have an opinion, but again, I just hate the whole "overrated" thing.
