But on a completely different topic, when did Spin stop sucking? When I was in high school it was as disposable as Rolling Stone. Suddenly, it takes itself, and music, seriously. Not that I don't like the change.
Chuck Klosterman is a twice removed cousin or something on my grandma's side. He's a good writer. I've brought him up to her before, but without all the details since she'd probably be a little scandalized by his rock and roll lifestyle; I just envy it.
JEW lost some kind of "cred" (yeah, whatever) after the immense popularity of Bleed American, especially "The Middle." Fans of Clarity really disliked their newfound popularity.
I hate it when a band's popularity immediately takes away their "cred." Just because someone's popular doesn't make them suck...well not all the time coughLimpBizkitcough
i never understand why when a great band finally starts getting popular that everyone freaks out...its like be happy someone with talent(and not ashlee) is getting recognition for once!
there are some parts of it that just made me laugh so hard. like 'the sims' chapter. i love how he actually called up will wright and had a conversation about the meaning of life.
And maybe someday she'll be cool.
