DARK KNIGHT NEWS....MAJOR MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!!

Major spoilers from sources on the set of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.

According to film ick, the character that Anthony Michael Hall is going to play is a well known character from the comic book. Apparently, he will appear as Edward Nymga aka THE RIDDLER.  Who knows how big or small his part will be. Will he appear as the actual Riddler? I bet he will just appear briefly as Edward Nygma...
 
Ok, the big on set news is that Aaron Eckhart has reportedly filmed scenes in Two Face Make Up.  Yes Kiddies, according to this blog, Harvey Dent will turn into TWO FACE and be a villian in the film. Here is the description:

"55/40. Scarring across the nose just a tad bit. One of his eye is deformed. And little bubbles across the scarring (They're manips that look similar). Wicked cool."

55/40? What's the remaining 5?

The scene may or may not have involved Two Face shooting Flass, the corrupt cop from Batman Begins.

This whole series of films, beginning with "Batman Begins", is a restart of the series. That's why. It's not "again", it's a different telling of the whole Batman deal.

I think that's well understood, but there's a whole lotta other villains in the Batman cannon that haven't been done yet in film form. Or at least so recently.

Me either. It seems pointless. That being said, despite the fact Ledger will be in it, I will most likely see this one, since the last film was really good.

We're not.

The main villain will be the Joker, Harvey Dent's story will most likely be the seeds for his Two-Face persona (campaign for district attourney, his disfiguration because he pissed the wrong people off, and his personality breaking into wanting to do everything by the book and the other half wanting justice at all bloody costs) instead of being a true bad guy, and the Ed Nigma/Riddler rumours are still just rumours plus even if they are true we probably won't be seeing Hall as The Riddler. Nolan threw a ton of little background stuff into the last one, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's even a brief mention of a scientist named Pamela Isley or of a Dr. Quinzel working at Arkham.

i'm probably just lost because honestly i don't care about this movie at all so i don't know who's playing whom but all this speculation and no real facts are messing my head up. he may or may not be this or that, the scene may or may not have involved such and such and so on. and wtf is this:

I wish they would have done Clayface.

And I can see Anthony Michael Hall as the Riddler, since in all the Batman stuff I read up on he (The Riddler) always wanted to be Bruce Wayne or better. So why not a better alter-ego or villanous conterpart of Batman.

I am so excited and can't wait for this movie.

Yeah, but they are doing Two Face who has one side of his face messed up and is obessed with his two sided coin. If they can do Two Face they can do something with Clayface. He can just be a guy who uses makeup to change for all I care, but I really favor Scarecrow and Clayface (two favorite Batman villians).

No way. Batman is the only franchise that can handle so many villains. Spiderman 3 was a fat turd, but this movie is going to be gold.

okay, so the big bad in this one is gonna be the Joker, and Scarecrow's gonna be back (though I doubt he'll have a big part, either he'll get caught by the cops or just chill with the Joker - maybe they'll get together and kidnap the mayor of Gotham like in the Knightfall saga, that would kick ass), and in the process of catching the Joker, DA Dent gets burned and turns into Two Face. and Anthony Michael Hall as the Riddler? I don't want it to get all tied up with 50 different villains at once, but it'll work if he's just hanging out being Nigma and not actually the Riddler yet.

holy shit, I don't think I could be more excited for this movie if I tried.
