More on Lindsay's DUI

More details: In a press conference this afternoon about the arrest of Lindsay Lohan, cops say they found a "usable amount" of a drug they say was cocaine at the scene. McCann would not say where the drug was found but it was "not on her person."

Police tell TMZ that 20-year-old Lohan and two other adults were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible when she lost control and crashed into a curb and trees in Beverly Hills, Calif. around 5:30 AM. After the crash, police say LiLo got into another car and was driven to Century City Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries that involved "something to her upper chest area," McCann said. The two other people in her car were not hurt.

Officers received a 911 call about the accident and "tracked Ms. Lohan to the local hospital, where she was ultimately placed under arrest" for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Lt. Mitch McCann said it appeared as if Lohan was speeding and lost control.

Lohan was cited and released and will have to face a judge.

A rep for Lohan could not be reached for comment.

hahahahaha, what an idiot
[info]babloo328 27th-May-2007 02:14 am (UTC)
Quite.

But maybe it'll send her ass back to "serious" rehab where your Robert Downey Jr.'s go...
[info]oooooooohyeah 27th-May-2007 12:42 am (UTC)
Chest area? That's okay, her implants probably softened the impact.
[info]just4ontd 27th-May-2007 12:43 am (UTC)
Lol, if one popped we'll finally know for sure whether or not they're real.
[info]offmycloud 27th-May-2007 01:02 am (UTC)
My vote was always for real, but I will lmao if this turns out to be true.
[info]anjoliena 27th-May-2007 12:42 am (UTC)
Never saw this coming.....not
[info]just4ontd 27th-May-2007 12:42 am (UTC)
I'm gonna start a letter writing campaign if all she gets is fines and rehab.
[info]weakends 27th-May-2007 12:42 am (UTC)
guess that vodka company won't be sponsering her birthday party anymore
[info]honeytar 27th-May-2007 03:07 am (UTC)

[info]frubaloo 27th-May-2007 09:22 pm (UTC)
Lol, love how you were right on the money with this.
[info]twitchyier 27th-May-2007 12:42 am (UTC)
is she going to jail?
[info]chibi_pink 27th-May-2007 08:48 am (UTC)
let's hope!!
[info]truthofthewords 27th-May-2007 01:10 pm (UTC)
probably not. She'll probably just get her license taken away and heavy fines wtih community service. If she breaks her probation (like paris) she'll probably then go to jail. But if someone else in the car was hurt then it may be different. Some states if someone is injured in a drunk driving accident you could be charged with attempted murder
[info]getmeacampari 27th-May-2007 12:42 am (UTC)
Perhaps the potato-sack lumpy body paid off and protected her from any further bodily injury.
[info]iamdjkeoki 27th-May-2007 05:36 am (UTC)
lmao, that is the perfect description of her body.
[info]sooozie1982 27th-May-2007 12:43 am (UTC)
haha, bitch is going down
[info]ayajedi 27th-May-2007 01:40 am (UTC)

[info]haydsvirgo 27th-May-2007 02:09 pm (UTC)

[info]simplychristina 27th-May-2007 12:43 am (UTC)
Deflated implants?
[info]mareejane 27th-May-2007 02:27 am (UTC)
i think thats what happened.
[info]thekmartoprah 27th-May-2007 12:43 am (UTC)
haha :(
[info]principino 27th-May-2007 12:43 am (UTC)
Whatever, if she had coke so what. Doing coke (not the drunk driving, of course) is a victimless crime.
[info]i_nemesis 27th-May-2007 12:44 am (UTC)
i agree
[info]0405 27th-May-2007 12:44 am (UTC)
So what?
[info]simplychristina 27th-May-2007 12:45 am (UTC)
Sure, if you don't have any loved ones that it would affect, or if you're poor and start committing crimes to pay for your habit.
[info]disfunkional 27th-May-2007 12:46 am (UTC)
Doing coke in your house maybe, but, when you do it while drunk... NOT A GOOD IDEA.
[info]omgthumbwar 27th-May-2007 12:56 am (UTC)
i'm guessing you're kidding
[info]stevie_jane 27th-May-2007 01:05 am (UTC)

Apart from the whole makes dumb people even dumber factor. I also take issue with noses caving in - that is scary looking.
[info]devotchkanicki 27th-May-2007 09:34 am (UTC)
Your nose doesn't cave in unless you snort like, mountains of it every day for a year or something. No one does that, because sooner or later, you're going to start shooting it or mixing it with other drugs and shooting it.
[info]xetes 27th-May-2007 01:07 am (UTC)
Cultivating coke isn't. At all. When growers and sellers aren't using what could be argued as terrorist tactics to keep their legions in line, they're seeing their country's liberties decimated and their neighbors carpet-bombed by American politicians and soldiers blindly fighting a war on the drug. There are thousands of civilian casualties in Columbia and Mexico that are the direct result of cocaine production.

You could argue legalizing the drug would eradicate the problem, but you can't argue crack cocaine. That shit pretty effectively devastated the already marginalized African-American community in the 80's.

Not so victimless.
[info]my_gun_yer_face 27th-May-2007 01:11 am (UTC)
agreed for the most part...
[info]lovelikeair 27th-May-2007 01:12 am (UTC)
in all honesty i like coke (i've not used in 4 months go me) but this girl is just a goddamn fool. there's a right way to be stupid and a wrong way to be stupid.
[info]jenafreaka 27th-May-2007 01:16 am (UTC)
Yeah, and the fact that her dad has been pumped up on coke her whole life didn't effect her at all. Yeeeah, coke has no victims right?
[info]zoobie 27th-May-2007 01:24 am (UTC)
victimless crime

Crime as in possession of an illegal substance. Regardless of how you personally feel, she's broken a law that is in place. When you break a law, you're usually punished regardless of how "victimless" the crime is.
[info]anjoliena 27th-May-2007 02:00 am (UTC)
Until you get behind the wheel or kill yourself and leave your loved ones behind.
Hopefully you were just showing off the fact that you're familiar with the term victimless crime....
[info]aly__xox 27th-May-2007 02:15 am (UTC)
I agree. If she had killed someone, then she should face punishment. But did she? NOPE!

She is hurting herself for the long term, but so? It's her problem.
[info]tash023 27th-May-2007 03:28 am (UTC)
LOL
[info]ohnoexplosions 27th-May-2007 03:32 am (UTC)
My best friend grew up without a father because of his coke addiction which led to his death; guess she wasn't a victim.
[info]misscrystal 27th-May-2007 03:39 am (UTC)
That would be the case if coke magically fell off of trees and onto pocket mirrors. The fact is that there are hundreds of lost lives, broken families and corrupted governments that go hand in hand with the production and use of cocaine.

[info]vozincorporea 27th-May-2007 04:38 am (UTC)
You can be on cocaine and crash because of it
[info]sicksexfix 27th-May-2007 05:16 am (UTC)
Wow, way to use your head. Next time you're doing drugs, just think about the source and how many people and the methods they've used to supply your drugs. It is definitely NOT a victimless crime. I also think you should watch the movie Blow. It's based on a true and very sad story about cocaine... Also Johnny Depp is in it.
[info]christinemozart 27th-May-2007 05:40 am (UTC)
until you accidently overdose or/and eventually your health falls down the toilet and doctors have to waste their time saving your life
[info]lilpita 27th-May-2007 06:37 am (UTC)
Spoken like a true crack-head. If you want to kill yourself with drugs like cocaine and heroin, do society a favor and just slit your wrists. It's a lot cheaper and a lot faster. Drugs are lame and people that need them to get through the day are pathetic.
[info]peachstock 27th-May-2007 06:47 am (UTC)
yeah, so what!?
drugz r awsum!!1!
[info]devotchkanicki 27th-May-2007 09:46 am (UTC)
HAHAHA at all these responses you're getting from these self-righteous ONTD people.

As if anyone who is going to do drugs is going to consider all the poor schmucks that you don't know who died because of some connection to it and then change their mind.
[info]jokersiccc 27th-May-2007 10:04 am (UTC)
You're a FUCKTARD!!!!!!!!!!
[info]euphoriatiic 27th-May-2007 09:55 pm (UTC)
holy shit comments
[info]kaylasue685 27th-May-2007 09:58 pm (UTC)
Victimless, my ass.

Cocaine might be all fun times for the people who do it but not for the people that die for it in Colombia.
[info]startsstopping 27th-May-2007 12:43 am (UTC)
She had better serve time for this.
[info]bad_jew 27th-May-2007 12:56 am (UTC)
I wish, but lets not hold our breath.
[info]kaylasue685 27th-May-2007 09:58 pm (UTC)
You know Paris is saying the same thing.
[info]patrycjartista 27th-May-2007 12:43 am (UTC)
