Celebrity Charity Table Tennis Tournament!

It’s quickly becoming the talk of the town. What could be more fun than a friendly game of table tennis (aka ping pong) with a celebrity twist? Dippin’ Dots Presents the first Annual Celebrity Grand Slam Paddle Jam to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will take place on Thursday, May 10 at Vanguard Hollywood and will be attended by Hollywood’s rising stars and entertainment’s young turks and revelers.

Guests will have the chance to come out and play and raise funds for St. Jude by competing in an industry table tennis tournament emceed by Justin Kredible for the chance to win the coveted Golden Paddle Tournament Trophy and grand prize, or to attend as a spectator to cheer on the teams while enjoying, food – including Dippin’ Dots ice cream -- drink, music, and fun. The tournament will be officiated by the USA Table Tennis Association (USATT), the national governing body for the Olympic sport of table tennis in the United States. The evening will also feature a “celebrity exhibition tournament” – vying celebrity vs. celebrity, TV show vs. TV show, socialite vs. socialite, and more, in a fun rivalry. One celebrity team will also be awarded with a Golden Paddle by an official from USATT.

The evening will be underwritten to ensure that 100 percent of the ticket price will support St. Jude to help children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases and is expected raise more than $50,000 for St. Jude.
