She was like, THE female teeny-bopper. She "paved the way" for the Britney's, Christina's, etc. of the world. She not only has a great voice, but could also play the piano, write music, produce, etc. People who are 24+ should be pretty familiar with her. :)

She was my IDOL when I was little. I had the hat, I wanted the ripped jeans, I wore Electric Youth perfume, I wanted to learn how to play the piano like her, etc. I don't know if I'll be following in her footsteps on this one...I guess it could be worse...it could have been Hustler.
