Fake, not fake, fake MySpace - who KNOWS?!?! Dlisted has a copy of a message

Last night I posted Anna Nicole Smith’s former assistant’s alleged website. The website KimberlyWalther.com claimed to be purple-haired Kimmy and she basically went off on Howard K. Stern. Well, Kimmy denied the website through her MySpace to a Dlisted reader. Who knows what to believe anymore?! I thought the website was a little honest and angry and a little too good to be true.

Oh well! Kimmy DOESN’T speak! Yet…

wait, i credited Dlisted with the link to the entry at the top - if i can source something, i totally do. the link sent to me last night from my buddy was directly to the site after we were bullshitting around talking about the girl.

so i copied from his site directly because it's his stuff; not mine. i'm not claiming it as such.

should i not credit Michael or his site? i'm curious here because it's not mine to change up and i think Michael deserves the credit for his writing and story.

Seriously! Ask any college prof. You can't word for word it, even if you source it. That is still plagiarism. Wow...you must be still in high school. You can still do that shit in high school not college.
Granted of course the word for worded part must be in quotations, but that's tertiary.

Actually, you can't do that shit in high school either. However, it's pretty standard common practice around here to just copy and paste from a blog or to repost an article if you link to the exact page it came from.

its standard practice when say you are lifting an entire AP article. but with a blog its different because blogs are commentaries. When you copy and paste someone's commentary and don't put any additional commentary of your own of course people are going to think you wrote the commentary.

The WHOIS info for the domain, which was created on 2/16/07, says it's registered to a Kimmy Walther of Cleveland, OHIO.
