I once saw a dog taking a shit and another dog launched himself underneath the other dog and opened his mouth and ate it like it was soft serve straight from the machine.

This was at a cocktail party in someone's backyard patio mind you - so it was somewhat classy and you've just got a party full of horrified guests holding champagnes staring in abject horror.

One time my cat puked up a hairball and my dog went over to start eating it and I had to reach in there and pry it out of her jaw with my bare hands.

My dog has tried to eat his puke before i have to clean it up asap

I 100% missed the part about them being Yorkies at first and was like, TELL ME THIS IS NOT PEOPLE DOING THIS!! Then I checked again and was just like, oh thank god lol.

mine gets kinda angry if i try to clean up her voms so i just let her have at it now

lol my little dogs do this too. if they are eating something they think is yummy they will eat too much too fast and get sick and throw up and then look at it like noo its still good and then try to eat it again

Speaking of dogs and food, my dog has been off her food the past few days. We've managed to get her to eat by hand feeding her, but she's not eating on her own. She doesn't seem sick otherwise- peeing and pooping normally and same amount of energy- so idk what is wrong with her.

my dog is recovering from a major illness and I've had to hand feed her a bit. sometimes with a spoon (wet food).

for her, it's the texture she has a problem with and she responds better when the bowl/spoon is elevated.

I'd def take her in if it continues, just bc she's drinking doesn't mean her body is functioning 100%. good luck :(

u could try a different food? sometimes they just get sick of eating the same kibble every day for their entire lives.

We got a sample of some Grandma Lucy's food so I tried that with her tonight and she was just not interested.

And then she threw up some bile.

So.... seems like it's time to give the vet a call.

Terrible timing, dog! My aunt is in the hospital, so while my mom is with her, I've been taking over my mom's duties caring for my grandparents. And I have a fitting for a bridesmaid dress tomorrow and now I get to find time for a vet appointment.

my dog would do this whenever he would get bored of his current food which was about every two weeks or so. I had to constantly change his food. Oh! He would always be down for treats though so that's how I knew it was the food he didn't care for. I hope your pup is okay

My dog started doing this and we found out the brand changed their formula and he was allergic.

Try adding some pumpkin to her food.

It's salt cod. I imagine you are supposed to soak it overnight before cooking it to remove some of the salt

Tell your aunt it's an endangered species, dunno why people still eat it with a clear conscience. Guess they are waiting until they eat the very last one

I fucking LOVE bacalao! My dad makes it every year for Christmas! It's so delicious but it's definitely not for everyone. It also is such a bitch to make because you have to soak it and take out all the bones

my dog has severe allergies and almost died, and now she eats a prescription food that only contains liver, corn starch, and vitamins. it's gross.

they did the allergy test and she's allergic to every tree, weed, grass, and 20/25 foods, all exceptionally high levels too. they haven't biopsied yet ($$$), but it's probably gastritis. her stomach X-ray was so inflamed she couldn't keep any food down :(((

doing okay now, but she's down 10 pounds (this all happened gradually but under vet care treating symptomatically) and still doesn't have her appetite back, plus she's very hesitant around food. it's going to be a slow process getting her back to 100%, but she's doing much better than before.
