“You know who wasn’t very pleasant, was Peter O’Toole. It kind of sucked. He’s dead, so I can say that. But he wasn’t the most pleasant person,” Diane added. “He was just a drunk, and Peter O’Toole. You know, he had a two-day part, and I played Helen of Troy and he was Peter O’Toole, and he just wanted to make sure that everybody knew that he was Peter O’Toole. And he could barely make it up the stairs. We were on a set that was — you know, you have to climb, like, I don’t know, 100 steps to go up. He was just — first of all, everybody thought he was gonna die right there and then. Because it was, you know, 120 degrees, and he had to walk up 100 stairs. And he was very old, and very drunk."

Go keep cheating on Joshua with Norman Reedus and stop being rude, alright?

ppl protect old white men all the time in hollywood so who cares even though i'm sure ppl will be outraged
There's nothing special about being dead that renders you sacred.
I mean I guess you're no longer around to defend yourself, but still... I don't think that should necessarily mean that people can't call you out on your shit just because you died first.
He was a special kind of old asshole white guy.
If Peter were purple I'd still be saying the same thing. It's crass to speak ill of the dead. Especially when you say "I can say this he's dead."
he's dead.
Are you lost?
wtf does this mean
you rude you rude and you don't deserve my respect if you do that
I don't care if we speak ill of the dead but it would've been hilarious if she'd said this stuff during the Troy promos.

If you got something to say to somebody, say it to their face and stand by it. If not, keep it to yourself. You don't come off good talking about people who can't say something back. You just end up looking fake or like a coward.
He's not attractive. The only white actor from back in the day that gets my vote is Paul Newman. He was gorgeous.
i was really sad to find out he was shitstain irl

after reading this, you can definitely tell that peter was drunk. brendan gleeson was too over the top, the guy who played menelaus whose name i forget was unremarkable, brad pitt was hammy as hell, the four young actors (orlando, diane, rose and what's his face that played patroclus) were beyond weak. the costumes and soundtrack were gorgeous but the acting was so bad lol. i liked the tv miniseries they released a few months before the movie came out to cash in on the hype. i at least remember rufus sewell being perfectly disgusting and disturbing as agamemnon.

I thought that at the time though, the movie was terrible and I remember a lot of people being like ~HDU.
You're definitely not wrong about Eric and Sean, they were truly the best things about it. Orlando made me cringe. Same with Brad.
